Performance Network seeks disciplined, engaged college graduates to fill the three apprentice positions available. With this comprehensive program selected individuals will receive hands on experience at a professional, nationally respected, Equity theatre. We encourage those who have a deep-rooted desire to do theatre to apply. With long hours you must be fully committed to your craft to excel in this position. However, having said this, the rewards are endless and the knowledge you will gain from working with experienced, professional actors, designers, stage managers, directors and administrators is insurmountable.

The apprenticeship will be what you make of it; the harder you work the greater the rewards.

The position is paid a $300 stipend to help defray living costs. This apprenticeship offers hands-on training in the areas of stage management, house management, development, marketing and technical theatre. On average an apprentice will work between 60 and 80 hours a week with longer hours during load in/ load out weeks.

After review of the applications and interview process will begin and decisions will be made for the 2013-2014 apprentice class by mid to late summer. Thank you for considering Performance Network as a place to further you career and learning experience. We look forward to hearing from you.
